I was walking through the mall today and passed by a jewelry store
Their tagline was "Love's a fairy tale"
This brought me to question, how do you define a fairy tale?
being witty (weirdly self proclaimed), i posted on Facebook, saying,
"They say love is a fairy tale. Beautiful but not real."
well you see, initially, i wanted to put 'unreal' but decided to keep my pessimist persona and used a clearly negative term "not real" rather than the term that could swing either ways...
if you search the interweb for fairy tales, you'll be fascinated by stories with happy endings...
maybe if true love does exist, you will be able to find a happy ending...
what they do not tell you is what happens next...
what happens after "I do"?
uphill or downhill is all up to you
if we're speaking of reality, fairy tales are just fables...
beautiful and inspirational but nonetheless, unreal...
they somehow don't exist in real life and is just not true...
no one will be fully happy with their life...
as long as human longs for more, satisfaction will not come...
when one is not satisfied, one is not happy...
so, it's your choice whether to take love as a fairy tale,
a beautiful journey or just an imagination that will never come true...
