To live for the now

the other day, my friend and i were discussing and sharing that
in motivational camps and those nonsense,
they'll have this guy asking the campers to close their eyes,
play some emo song at the back and with a "dramatic" voice
asks us to imagine our parents and how we took them for granted...
and their goal usually is to make us cry and repent...
blah blah blah...
we discussed that we never really did cry and was it because we're emotionless???

for me, i don't think so...
i know i'm not that good of a son...
but i know that i lived my life and i treated my parents the best way i could...
even if they're not around anymore (touch wood) i would not regret it for i know i've given them what i could...
there are no unresolved issues that i wish i could change before it's too late...

this brings me to, why not let's just live life without regrets...
lets do what we can and want (as long as it's okay) for we do not know what tomorrow may bring...
you may want go on an adventure...
as you procrastinate, you may end up in an accident and you'll regret not going for it...

live for the now, forgive the past, and embrace the future...

yours truly,
J
