BEDA #25 - Color Combinations Tell Something

next up on fashion,
this post is more general...
it'll be on color combination...

do you know that by dressing in a certain color,
we're sending a message...
and some colors are tied to different messages...
some, only when combined do they make a whole new message...

i would like to start with two combinations that i have and always think that they can send a message...
i have a green checkered shirt, a purple tie, and a gold tie...
when i wear the shirt with my gold tie, it gives an impression of life, of value, similar to Jean Grey's Pheonix color...
it gives the message of class and elegance and of positive value...
however, when i switch to my purple tie, it sends the opposite message...
green and purple could be tied to poison ivy, of poison, of death, of evil
a stark contrast from just the changing of my tie colors on my green shirt...
so you see?

similarly, if i combine blue with white or black...
with white, it gives a serene, celestial feel.
something cooling and safe...
something nice...
but with black, it gives an almost punk effect...
blue and black usually associates with night and danger...
see the contrast from just a change in color?

i hope you can see what i mean...
your colors send a message...
so, match wisely or go adventurous...
and since i'm a rather artsy person,
i could relate the colors to their symbols...

BEDA #24 - 5 Male Fashion Must Haves

I'VE BEEN SUPER BEHIND SCHEDULE!!!
SORRY!!!!
(but it's not like you miss me or anything)

since i'll have to out a series of posts to catch up,
i'll write on something i like...
FASHION...
but since there's so many female fashion stuff around,
today, i'm gonna speak on male fashion
and i will start with 5 Must-haves for Every Guy

1. a black tie

As every lady needs to have her black dress, every men should have his black tie. You could (almost) never go wrong with a plain black neck tie. It's a classic and will compliment any patterns that may come as it is not loud and would work together with your shirt. Alternatively, a white tie would be good to have as well. These two colors would (usually) not clash with other colors and patterns as they're very neutral.

2. a blazer

A blazer is a must have for every guy (especially young guys). The materials may not matter much and a piece of blazer could change your whole look in a instant. By putting on a blazer on top of your average t-shirt and jeans and you will look more classy. A blazer could also change your daytime look to a night time look in an instant. Also, a blazer would do wonders on your date nights to add a bit of class to your attire. Warning however, no slippers or flip flops. If you're in shorts, go for loafers as slippers and flip flops are a  definite no no to a classy attire.

3. a pair of good shoes

It doesn't matter whether their sport shoes or dress shoes, shoes are a must. No one wants to see your toes and (maybe) ugly, dirty toenails. As mentioned above, a pair of slippers or flip flops are a definite no no to a classy attire. Plus, wearing those would definitely lower your style-meter. The only places you could wear them would be around your house of by the beach. Whatever it is, closed shoes all the way.

4. a pair of good jeans

Need I say more. A pair of good jeans is a definite must have for guys. Know your measurements and the type of jeans that best shows your shape. If you have big thighs (like me), forget about those slim fit jeans. It'll look horrendous.  Jeans could work for most occasions and they are comfortable to wear.

5. a plain white piece of buttoned shirt

The classic, white shirt. It's a must have for every guy. You can still have your striped or checkered, but do have a piece of plain white shirt with good fitting. In a way, plain pattern or no patterns are classy and would almost never go wrong. Also, it would be good to have a plain black shirt as well. As mentioned above, white and black are neutral colors and would not clash with any other color.

once again,
i'm behind schedule..

today, i thought to myself and looking at some things around
i thought this witty thought...

think about it...
the Malays have this saying of "siapa makan cili, dia rasa pedas"
which directly translates to "who eats pepper would feel the spiciness"

so, ladies and gentlemen...
some of you know the truth, which i do hope the majority does...
judge for yourself who's telling the truth and who's actually lying...
for liars who calls others liars are mere cowardly hypocrites...

BEDA #22 - hectic hectic.... FREE!!!

missed BEDA again yesterday due to a hectic schedule...
so, i guess i'll have to do 2 again today...

speaking of a hectic schedule...
guess what,
i'm finally done with the assignment that had been bogging us down lately...
and the taste of freedom is so rewarding...
however, i'm not too sure how the result will turn out...

not to self, don't procrastinate....

i guess that's all for now...
it's kind of random
but i guess that's for now...

i find them utterly disgusting and immature if they have to pull others down to make themselves look better...

like seriously...

i would not want to reveal why i'm saying this but if you're from Malaysia, or even on Facebook much, you'll know what i mean...

like seriously?!

how immature could someone be?

rather than bringing others down, why not build yourself up?

utter bummer bull crap these kind of people...

it's bad enough that you tattered your reputation, you're making it worse by showing your dirty disgusting side and bringing others down...

and worse of all, spreading lies in doing so...

cannot lose in grace is it?

you've been winning for so long but did no good, why should you continue winning?

try losing and if you're good enough, then, make a comeback...
