Life is a bed of THORNS (not roses)

the person who came out with this phrase must have never left his house...
(huh? is my grammar correct???)
or was there a hidden meaning
the REAL world is NEVER a bed of roses (unless you luck out the flowers and "sleep" on the thorns)
this world is just too painful...
too many injustice...
its just too weird

even rich kids
they might be born with a silver spoon but who would ever know the inside of them
here they are, parading their credit cards, prada bags, nike shoes and sooo many more but deep down, there must always have an empty hole somewhere...
but who are we to know right...

Did I just do Charity?

today, something different happened at my workplace...
it was about 12 something, so there aren't any students yet...
suddenly, an elderly man came up the stairs and requested for the person in charge...
then Yoga (the manager) came out.

the old man told us his sad story
he was an ex-prisoner on parole
the thing is, he NEEDS to go back home to Kelantan (i think)
cos his daughter is in the 4th stage of leukemia...
honestly, i dunno what to feel...
the man looked earnest...
he kept on saying he's not conning and knows that many does this kinda thing (asking for money and help)
and he is a Christian

everyone seemed to be digging into their wallets and many of us went into the office to get our wallets...
i didn't know whether he was real or not, so out of being a nice guy (prasan), i took out 5 bucks to give...
if he's for real, at least it'll help a bit, if he's a con, i don't think 5 bucks is too much of a lost for me...
so, yoga then collected the money and gave it to the man...
he was really thankful...
he kept saying that if he could, he would come back after he's parole period finish to repay us...
and he ended with a 'God Bless'
how i wished i have a verse to give him but i didn't at that moment or was i too shy to approach him...
and he then left..

suddenly, i got this verse in my head
(i dont remember the book, chapter and verse and thus re-check it back home like now)
it came from Matthew 25:40

now, i'm not really sure if i did the right thing?
i guess only God knows...
i wonder what he did that got him into prison???

2009: gonna be awesome for me...

2009 is featuring yet another season of Power Rangers...
but not just another Power Rangers season...
it's beyond awesome this year...
so much different from what it was (or were) since Disney took over...
Disney doesn't care for Power rangers and thus gave them a very minor priority and budget but they dont wanna let go of Power Rangers because it's a BIG name and they're afraid that the company who got it will make Power Rangers WAYYY AWESOME and be a great competitor...
(curse you Disney for doing that but gave so much to shows like Hannah Montana and those sorts)
but this year (or rather last year cos production started late last year) PR got a new Executive Producer who REALLY CARED for PR...
too bad that he'll only be doing 18 episodes cos he cared too much for pr and wanted it perfect till the scripts were overdue and the budget was blown...
so, to take his place is an old PR EP who was around since Saban's time and left before Disney took over...
word has it that he's a good writer and most importantly, CARED for PR
yay...
hopefully he'll succeed the show nicely for the remaining episodes...

in the mean time, to show y'all how AWESOME this season is gonna be, i'll show you a vid of the promo which got leaked out...
it's not the official one, so some things aren't perfected yet...
oh, and if you're interested (which i pretty much doubt T_T)
the new season of Power Rangers is titled Power Rangers RPM (Racing Performance Machines) and will premiere on the 7th of March...

another reason why i'm so gonna love this season is because i've watched the whole season of it's Japanese counterpart except for the last episode which i'm still waiting for the subs (HAYAKU TV-NIHON!!!)...

American Idol Season 8 (IMO)

so, i just watched American Idol Season 8 Top 36 picking

this year has gotta be one of the most unpredictable selections for the top 36...
some that i did not like AT ALL are in namely Tatiana (i agree with Simon, she's annoying... was she a hyena in her past life, figuratively speaking though... ah... you know what i mean)
and Nathaniel Marshall (too dramatic... and not to mention, i hate his style cos its very erm... the mild gothic with piercings and tattoo... just maybe no black eyeliners)
those are the two i dislike most that got through...

but the most sad story is when the two bff had to seperate...
my favorite pairing, Danny and Jamar had to seperate
Danny got in and Jamar sis not make it...
thank god they did not make them do a sing off against one another cos it'll be VERY hard for Danny and Jamar...
